William Hunt, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Hunt has been a pioneer in the security industry, with over eighteen years of in-depth computer networking and security experience.

At Internet Devices (the world's first firewall appliance company) he built and managed the Engineering, Support and Manufacturing teams. Internet Devices was acquired in June 1999 by Alcatel for $180M. Previously he served at VPNet Technologies (the world's first Virtual Private Networking company), where he built and managed the Software Engineering team and architected the company's product line. VPNet was acquired in January 2001 by Avaya Communications for $180M. At Novell he initiated and led the development of the company's Firewall and VPN product (Border Manager).

Mr. Hunt holds twelve patents in the security and networking arena and has published several articles.
