Sales Positions available in the following

Regional Sales Manager
Akaba is seeking highly motivated Senior
Sales Professionals with a minimum of 5 years of successful
sales experience selling to large accounts and channel partners.
The successful candidate must have strong experience in prospecting
and relationship building and a demonstrated knowledge of
processes for closing large accounts, including forecasting,
quota attainment and sales presentations.
Experience selling networking and security products and current
contacts in Fortune 5000 and Service Providers are a big plus
This is a revenue generating position. We are looking for
aggressive people who are self-starters and strong closers.
Candidate should have consistently exceeded revenue targets.
Requirements
- Agressive self-starter and strong closer. A proven
track record of success is critical.
- Must possess a background of selling network/ IP
network-related applications. Background with network security
is extremely useful.
- Experience selling services into Fortune 500 &
Global 1000 corporations, Application Service Providers, and
hosting environments.
- The ability to leverage your own existing business
relationships and contacts
- The ability to deliver business value to the account
and build on customer relationships
- Strong technical knowledge with complementary skills
to understand the customers' business drivers and align to
Akaba solution
- The ability to work under pressure, and to handle
many tasks requiring thorough attention
- Very strong communications, negotiation, writing,
and phone skills
Sales Engineer
As a Sales Engineer, you will interact
with potential customers with the intent to sell Akaba security
services. You will work with customers and potential customers
to discover their technical needs and how Akaba services can
best fill those needs.
You have experience as a Sales Engineer
working with TCP/IP networking products or services, and ideally
have worked with security products, such as firewalls, VPN
devices, or intrusion detection products.

Development
Business Development Manager
As a Business Development manager,
you will play a key role on the Akaba team. You will be responsible
for building and managing relationships with partners, especially
other service providers, such as ISPs, CLECs, and co-location
companies. You have worked with many of these service providers
in past positions.
You have recently held a similar title at
a large fast-moving company in the networking, security and/or
services space. You have had experience with networking products
and services, and may have had experience with security products
and services.

Senior Threat Assessment Engineer
As a Senior Threat Assessment Engineer,
you will play a key role on the Akaba team. You will discover
new vulnerability threats and develop tests to detect for
them. You will research details of the threat and develop
solutions to them.
In addition to a strong understanding of
TCP/IP network security, this position requires initiative,
good organizational and communication skills, and the ability
to act with a high degree of autonomy. You have worked with
security devices such as Checkpoint Firewall-1 or Cisco PIX
with products from ISS, VPNet, Red Creek, Axent (Raptor),
TIS or Nokia; with network sniffer tools and with security
tools; such as nmap, SATAN, whisker, etc.
Useful certifications: CISSP, CISA, CCSE,
CCSA, CCIE, CCNA, CCNP, MSCE

Technical Support Specialist
As a Technical Support Specialist,
you will work with customers to resolve their network security
issues. You have good organizational and troubleshooting skills,
and TCP/IP networking experience. You may have worked with
security devices such as Checkpoint Firewall-1 and Cisco PIX,
or products from VPNet, Red Creek or Axent (Raptor). You may
have worked with help desk products such as Remedy ARS.
Useful certifications: CCSE, CCSA, CCIE,
CCNA, CCNP, MSCE
