Mario Rosati, Director
Mario Rosati has been with the Palo Alto
law firm of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati since 1971,
and has been a member since January 1975. Rosati specializes
in Corporate Law, focusing particularly on high-technology
companies. He is a member of his firm's executive committee,
elected by members of the firm to manage the firm, and is
the managing partner of WS Investments. Rosati is a director
of many public and privately held companies, and counsel for
a host of other companies.
In 1981, he participated on the Innovator
and Entrepreneurship Task Force to the office President-elect
Reagan. He also served as a special consultant to the Secretary
of Transportation Drew Lewis and Deputy Secretary of Transportation
Darrel Trent. In this connection, he was also a member of
the Airport Access Task Force.
Rosati has sat as Judge Pro-Tem in
the Superior Court, State of California, San Mateo County
and serves on the Panel of Arbitrators for San Mateo County.
He is an adjunct professor of the Haas School of Business
at UC Berkeley, and serves on the Board of Advisors for the
Lester Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He also
is on the UC Berkeley Foundation Board of Trustees, and is
an advisor to the Technology Commercialization Office at Los
Alamos National Laboratory.
